ConwyMC Shop is now open!

While I have been hard at work fixing bugs, there was still time to finish off and test the ConwyMC Store. It has passed my testing, the legal parts have been written and prices setup. That means it’s ready to buy from!

Oh, and there’s also a title if you make a purchase between now and 1 calendar month after the server official opens! It’s a pink V4:

What can I buy?

There are three categories, but it all revolves around boosters! We are exploring other options that still follow Minecraft’s EULA, but they are in the early stages so don’t expect anything soon.

Coin Boosters

The very first booster type! Additively applies a modifier to the coin multiplier for the duration. For example, if the coin multiplier was 2, and you used a +50% booster, the coin multiplier would then be 2.5.

The coin multiplier multiplies your coins from all sources except level ups & player-set bounties (kill-streak bounties are multiplied).

Kit Boosters

Our other type of booster is the kit booster! This allows anyone to spawn with the boosted kit for its duration.

Random kit boosters select a random, non-boosted coin kit when used. They will not select sign kits, staff kits. It may pick a coin kit in public testing to boost.

Wild kit boosters allow you to specify which kit you want to boost when used. You cannot boost staff kits not a kit already boosted. You can boost sign kits or (coin/sign) kits in public testing.

Any other kit booster will have a kit selected already. Pre-selected kit boosters can be staff kits or coin kits. There isn’t currently a way to get pre-selected sign-kit boosters.

These are collections of boosters you can purchase together for a reduced price per booster. Currently there are only two,

Earning Boosters in-game

It’s worth mentioning it’s possible to earn boosters without donating. The easiest way is by levelling up! Many levels now grant booster as their reward rather than flat coins. You can also earn boosters with some luck when achieving MVP (and meeting minimum activity requirements).

Where does the money go?

The primary use is to pay our host for the server’s. We’ve set up a monthly goal on the website to show our minimum costs.

Any excess will then be spent to improve the server, determined by how much excess there is. It may be placed into a rainy day pot, to purchase rewards for events, for advertising, for paying people for services (i.e. an artist).

Your support goes directly to ConwyMC and will always be spent on making ConwyMC running and/or better. Without your support, ConwyMC will simply not survive. So, thank you for staying with ConwyMC all this time and here’s to a long future 🍻
