Details on how ConwyMC's test session work

Server Rules

While we try to cover as many cases as possible, staff reserve the right to punish players for elements not in this list (e.g. disrupting gameplay), and they can punish more severely if the offence is significant enough (e.g. racism under insulting players would lead to a ban)

Chat Offences

• Swearing - Swearing is allowed, as long as it is not excessive. Excessive swearing will lead to warnings, and then a (permanent) mute.
• Spamming - Spamming will lead to a (permanent) mute.
• Advertising - Unapproved advertising will be an instant tempban/mute. Sub-communities like Conwylia are automatically approved, but if you're not sure, /msg a Mod+.
• Insulting - Will lead to a (temp) mute. Swearing at players is the same as insulting them.
• NSFW - Minecraft can be played by anyone 13+, as well as Discord. Any content that isn't suitable for them will be removed with harsh consequences.

Gameplay Offences

• Hacking - Hacking will result in a permanent ban
• Macros/Autoclickers - Non-chat macros (not to be confused with in-game keybindings) are considered hacks and will result in a permanent ban.
• Team Trolling - This one is a little vague, but it covers any type of team sabotage, or playing in a way that disrupts the game (for example excessive trucing), the punishment depends on the severity of the disruption.
• Point Farming - Another vague one, but when you conspire with the enemy team to just swap flags, or capture flags then swap teams to capture them back, that's considered point farming. Stat wipe is generally the minimum outcome for punishments.
• Combat Logging - You will automatically just gain more deaths for combat logging.

Evading Punishments

Punishment evading will always result in a permanent ban on the account that is used to evade. Furthermore, depending on the original punishment the consequences may differ for the main account.

• Hacking - Once a player that is banned for hacking joins the server on an alt account, this account and IP address should be banned permanently.
• Other Offences - In case the player that is temporary banned and/or muted joins the server on an alt account, this account should be banned until the punishment of the original account is over. Besides of that, the original punishment of the main account will be count as one extra offense. This means that the player gets punished right away for the same offense, without subtracting days from it!

Ranks

Ko-Fi

Ko-Fi is the best way to support the server! They take minimal cuts from donations allowing us to invest more into development than simply keeping a shop open. Plus, you get rewards!

These are the ranks give to those who make a monthly donation via our Ko-Fi page. We have tried to make these as affordable as possible while still allowing us to keep the server going. If there's a benefit here that you'd really like to see, please let us know! We're always open to constructive feedback.

• Lord - €10 per month
  • Gain all perks of previous rank
  • Get access to the build server with your own world. You can also add any Knight+ players to this world as well!
  • Work with a developer to design your own kit and have it added to the game!
  • Gain a special role on Discord with a private channel
• Knight - €5 per month
  • Gain all perks of previous rank
  • Get whitelisted on the server outside of public Test Sessions
  • Gain a special role on Discord with a private channel
• Squire - €3 per month
  • Gain access to weekly posts detailing what we've been working on over that week.
  • Gain a special role on Discord with a private channel

Top Donator

These ranks are given for donating the most money (calculated in euros) on the server.

• High King - #1 donator on the server.
• King - #2 & #3 donator on the server.
• Viceroy - #4 - #10 donator on the server - Can choose a donation tier or a top title to display.

Donation Tiers

These ranks are given for reaching certain thresholds in donation amount (calculated in euros) on the server. The server calls these "rank points", and one rank point is equivalent to €1.

• Duke - €140+
• Count - €100 - €139.99
• Baron - €60 - €99.99
  • Switching teams takes 1 death rather than 2
• Noble - €20 - €59.99
  • Can challenge another player to a duel
• Equire - €1 - €19.99
  • Can set their join & leave message via /joinmsg & /leavemsg
  • Can use /firework.
  • Can swap teams ignoring balance & can specify a specific team when switching

Staff

Staff ranks are given by application to Builder & Chatmod, and then promotions.

• Builder - Grants permission on the build server
• Chatmod - Can warn, kick & mute players.
• Chatmod+ - Can ban players, setup PPMs & cast curses.
• Moderator - Has permissions for modifying coins & boosters.
• Developer - Has some additional debug commands.
• Community Manager - Organises events for the community to keep the server active.
• Admin - Can set staff rank and makes sure the server doesn't fall apart.
